2010 Calendar of Events
We have a fun-filled summer planned just for you! 'Our favorites' are still listed,
but we’ve discovered a few new things to try! May weekends have limited recreation.
Weekends in June, everyday in July, and the first three weeks of August are full of
planned recreation. The weekly activity list can include arts & crafts, volleyball,
story time, horseshoe or bocce tournaments, bingo, hayrides, and softball.
There’s also various children’s games such as scavenger hunts, relay races, sandcastle
contests and waterballoon games. Come and join in on the fun!

April 30-May2, Clean up and Plant a Tree - Receive a FREE site for the weekend in exchange for at least five hours raking and planting trees on Saturday. Pot Luck Supper Saturday Night - Bring your favorite dish to share
May 7-9, Spring Special Begins with Mother's Day champagne breakfast ! Limited recreation Saturday.Then on Sunday morning we'll have a FREE champagne breakfast in honor of Mom - if Dad or another family member helps cook & clean!
May 15, Bouncy House with Maxwell Moose - Limited recreation Saturday including the Bouncy House.
May 21-23 , Ice Cream Party - with pot luck toppings. Each family brings a topping to share, and we'll supply ice cream to make your own sundaes. Limited recreation Saturday.
May 28-31, Memorial Day Weekend - 3 night minimum required. All our favorite recreation and games have been jam packed into one great weekend. Full Recreation Saturday and Sunday.
June 5, Bouncy House with Maxwell Moose - We'll have full recreation this Saturday; Arts and Crafts, kids games, and more! Maxwell Moose will be there in the afternoon with the Bouncy House!
June 12, Ice Cream Party (with pot luck toppings) A full day of recreation Saturday including an Ice Cream Party Saturday night.
June 19, Father’s Day Chicken B-B-Q - We're having a chicken B-B-Q Saturday
evening and Dad eats FREE with a dinner purchase by any other family member. Father/Child
Horseshoe tournament Saturday afternoon. Full recreation Saturday
June 25–27 Chinese New Year Weekend We’ll kick off our everyday, all day, 2010 recreation program by celebrating Chinese New Year! Make luminaries and dragon hats, ride the hayride or play New Year games! Trash Bag Theatre Saturday Night - fun to be in or just to watch!
July 2-5, Fourth of July 3 night minimum required. Featuring BJ Hickman who magically reappears Friday 7/2 Recreation all day everyday! Book early . . . sites book quickly during this week.
July 9-11, Pirate Weekend featuringThe Magic of the Steelgraves Ahoy Maties! Back again by popular demand is Pirate Weekend! Bring your pirate or princess costume and join in the fun! Look for treasure, walk the plank, or play sink the ship! Almodarr & Angelique: The Magic of the Steelgraves will astound the whole family Saturday evening!
July 16-18, Christmas In July! - Santa And Mrs. Claus Arrive On A Float To Visit Us. They arrive with an "awesome" display of lights, All of our activities center around Christmas including a Christmas Party for the younger kids with Santa and Mrs. Claus Saturday evening. After the party, Santa' will hand out gifts - parents must contact us regarding gifts.
July 23-25, Superhero Tryouts Weekend! So you think you’d make a good superhero? Bring your superhero outfits and tryout for our justice league by running faster than a speeding bullet, leaping tall buildings, water balloon target practice, and the super villain toilet paper tie up race. Mad Science will perform their Up, Up and Away show Saturday Evening!
July 30-August 1, Fiesta Weekend! Join our Fiesta Party Saturday night Featuring pinatas the Bouncy House and lots of games and prizes. All weekend we'll have South of the Border Games. Sombrero and Maraca Making.
August 6-8, Medieval Weekend ! Jousting, shield making, Viking ship races, fairy house making; activities take on a medieval theme this weekend! Bring your knight or princess costumes! We’ll have Trash Bag theater Saturday night - fun to be in or just to watch!
August 13-22, Halloween WEEK! (yes! Week!) Once again we turn the calendar ahead to celebrate a favorite holiday! But this time it’s for a full week! We’ll trick or treat both Saturdays, show our scary haunted house three times and have a fun filled party both Saturdays. The week will be full of Halloween inspired recreation! Decorate your site!
August, 27–29, ADVENTURER WEEKEND! New! Whether you’re a fan of 007, Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider, this is going to be a great new themed weekend! We’re still working on the details, but plan to have a clued treasure search, boat races, knot tying contest, and a bug hunt. Or try geo caching on the lake!
September 3-6, Labor Day Weekend (3 night minimum required) All our
favorite games & activities crammed into one weekend. Full recreation Saturday
and Sunday.
