A Typical Week at Poland Spring Campground

Friday, 8/4

             9:00am   Story Time in the Office Circle – come read stories with Maxwell Moose!
            10:00am  Bocci – a fun game for all ages – On the Bocci court next to the playground
            11:00am  Bubble Play at the Rec Hall
             1:00pm   Arts and Crafts – come make paddle boats down at the lake!
             2:00pm   Peanut Hunt at the lake 
             2:30pm   Volleyball at the court – ages 12 and up
             6:30pm   Pool Tournament – in the Game Room   ages 12 and up
             7:00pm   Bingo in the Rec Hall – a nickel a card per game – for all ages

Saturday, 8/5

             8:30am   Cartoons in the Poland Spring Room
             9:30am   South of the Border Games in the playing field – all ages are welcome
            11:00am  Water Balloon Slingshot Prizes for the 1st three caught - Meet on the playing field.
            12:30pm  Arts & Crafts - in the Rec Hall – we’ll be making Mexican Hats and Maracas
             1:00pm   Horseshoe Tournament – ages 16 and up – we draw for teams
             1:30pm   Fiesta Scavenger Hunt - meet at the Rec Hall - teams of two
             1:30pm   Jewelry making for teens – ages 13 and up – in the Rec Hall
             2:30pm   Bean Game – very challenging!  meet at the Rec Hall
             3:30pm   Fiesta Hayride – meet at the Office Circle – bring your Mexican Hats and maracas (or other noise makers)
             3:45pm  Maxwell Moose comes out to play!
             7:00pm  FIESTA PARTY in the playing field!   Donkey Rides with Ricco Suave; Pinatas; bouncy house (for the little ones);  games and a snack         

Sunday, 8/6

            9:00am   Storytime - meet at the Office Circle for some nature stories and a snack      Maxwell Moose will join us . . .
          10:00am   Ceramics in the Rec Hall by Paulette’s Ceramic Studio.  Pieces start at approximately $7
          10:30am    Water balloon volleyball in the playing field – all ages welcome
          12:30pm    Arts & Crafts in the Rec Hall –
            1:30pm   Ice Melting GAMES – meet at the Rec Hall – fun for all ages!
            2:30pm   Stickball for ages 8 and up!  Meet on the playing field - no gloves needed
            7:00pm   Basketball Tournament – we draw for teams of two – meet on the court – ages 12 and up

Monday, 8/7

            9:00am    Relay Games in the Playing field
           10:00am    Parachute Play in the playing field
           11:00am    Four Square on the Basketball court – ages 10 and up
             1:00pm   Arts & Crafts in the Rec Hall
             2:00pm   Water balloon games in the playing field  - be prepared to get wet!
             3:00pm   Face Painting with Maxwell Moose – in the Office Circle
             7:00pm   KIDS CANDY BAR Bingo!  A chance for the kids to win it big and have a blast doing it!

Tuesday, 8/8

            9:00am     Capture the Flag - in the playing field
          10:00am     Relay Races in the pool
          11:00am     Waterballon basketball . . . on the playing field
            1:00pm    Arts & Crafts in the Rec Hall
            2:00pm     Kids Bocci on the Bocci Court - all ages can play this game
            6:30pm     Chess Tournament – in the Poland Spring Room
            7:00pm     Pony Rides in the playing field by No Baloney Pony
            7:15pm     Maxwell Moose comes out to play!  Meet on the playing field

Wednesday, 8/9

            9:00am     Kids Games in the playing field - all ages welcome!
          10:00am     Waterballoon Slingshot - in the playing field
          11:00am     Scavenger Hunt - meet at the office circle
            1:00pm     Arts & Crafts in the Rec Hall
            2:00pm     Ice Cream Making - in the Rec Hall - you have to make it in order to eat it!
                                    we start at 2pm sharp!
            7:30pm    Campfire at the Office Circle –come share scary stories and homemade popcorn
                                                                        with Maxwell the Moose
            8:30pm    Teen Campfire – Come hang out – 14 and up only

Thursday, 8/10

            9:00am     Kickball in the playing field
           10:00am    Waterballoon Volleyball - on the volleyball court
           11:00am    Parachute Play - in the playing field
             1:00pm    Arts & Crafts - in the Rec Hall
                             Bring an article of clothing to paint on. (Shirt, hat, socks, etc.)
             2:00pm    Horseshoes at the pits, ages 10 and up, we draw for teams
             2:30pm    Sandcastle  Building Contest at the playground 
             6:00pm    Movie in the Poland Spring Room - Rated G –
             7:30pm    Movie in the Poland Spring Room - Rated PG-13
